If You Are Unwell, Please Do Not Attend

Stay at home and avoid attending if you are:
  • unwell
  • a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19
  • waiting for a COVID-19 test result
  • self-isolating

People at higher risk of COVID-19 infection are encouraged to take extra precautions when leaving home to protect your own health. Use your judgement. You may want to avoid large gatherings as much as possible. Read information for people at high risk of COVID-19 infection.

Display and Use of QR Codes
We will be displaying and using QR Codes for the COVID-19 Tracer App so that delegates can easily keep a record of where they’ve been to support any future contact tracing if required.  Download the NZ COVID Tracer App here.

Good Hygiene
Delegates will have access to appropriate hand washing facilities with soap and water, and the ability to dry your hands thoroughly. An alcohol-based hand sanitiser will be provided in the registration area, in each room and throughout the exhibition hall.

Make sure you use good hygiene such as frequent hand washing with soap and water, and cough and sneeze into your elbow. Use the hand sanitiser provided frequently.

To help prevent further spread of COVID-19 and other viruses (eg, the common cold or influenza) you may want to keep up physical distancing where possible. While the risk of exposure to COVID-19 is low, it may re-emerge and you should always follow basic hygiene to prevent spreading any virus (eg, the common cold or influenza) that can be easily spread when people get together.
Read more about protecting yourself with good hygiene.

o Hand hygiene – frequently wash your hands for a minimum of 20 seconds, then dry them thoroughly. If you are unable to access soap and water, use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser containing at least 60% alcohol. If using sanitiser, ensure that you use enough to cover your hands and rub hands together until dry.

o Cough and sneeze etiquette – sneezing or coughing into the crook of your elbow or covering coughs and sneezes with a tissue, then putting the tissue in a bin and cleaning your hands (as above).

o Avoiding touching your face – hard surfaces can be contaminated with infectious droplets. Hands can be contaminated after contact with these surfaces. If you need to touch your face, clean your hands first.
