​Rebecca raised in Christchurch and trained in New Zealand, graduating in 2007, completing a fellowship in Perth 2008 in otology/ neuro-otology. She has worked as an SMO in Wellington since 2008, including significant involvement in advanced training from 2009 to 2019. Currently her focus is on advanced otology, research in middle ear disease and head of department role.

Otology Meets Oncology: An Ontological Discussion

​Otology involvement in head and neck cancer resection for peri-auricular disease usually involves bony temporal bone resection. This is  a summary of 20 years experience, including some alternative approaches and  the oncological and otological rationale.

 ANCA Associated Vasculitis (AAV): Otology Perspectives and Treatment Updates

AAV is uncommon but not rare presentation to ORL clinics. Early diagnosis can be challenging due to cross-over symptoms, advanced disease can cause severe orang damage. Considerations of presentation and treatment updates will be discussed.
