Dr Andrew Gordon

Andrew Gordon is a senior Otolaryngologist working at Counties Manukau Health/ Middlemore Hospital, in South Auckland for over 35 years. His medical degree is from the University of Auckland Medical School. He spent two years in the US doing Fellowships at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota and then at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, in Denver. Research interests at that stage concerned sino-nasal mucociliary function and disorders of Taste and Smell.  He was the Head of the ORL Department at Counties for more than 20 years. His clinical ORL interests were initially quite general but through necessity have become mostly otologic. Retirement plans are being contemplated but remain uncertain!
