Dr Christopher Kennel
Otolaryngologist, Hawke's Bay, NZ
|
I speak with a funny accent because I'm from the US. My family and I moved to Hawke’s Bay New Zealand in 2022 to give our children a broader world view and for a more sustainable lifestyle.
I received my doctorate of medicine at the University of Colorado and core otolaryngology training at the University of Missouri, then completed an advanced otology fellowship with Michael Teixido in Delaware. Because allergy impacts many ear, nose and throat conditions, I completed a fellowship with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. I am a diplomate of the American Board of Otolaryngology--Head & Neck Surgery and Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons. There aren't enough doctors in New Zealand, so I try to treat patients fully, practicing the full range of otolaryngology. |
